Plattelandstoerisme, dat traditioneel wordt geassocieerd met landbouw en agrarische ervaringen, verschuift nu naar culturele ervaringen, waardoor nieuwe niches ontstaan, zoals creatief toerisme.<br>Plattelandsgebieden zijn vaak de bewaarders van een rijk immaterieel cultureel erfgoed (ICE) dat niet alleen van grote waarde is voor de lokale identiteit, maar ook een krachtige troef is voor het toerisme.<br>In deze context zijn storytelling en digitale platforms essenti\u00eble instrumenten geworden.
